Harm Reduction for the Elderly is a Shared Responsibility

The many professionals that care for our frail elderly are part of a safety network with the crucial responsibility of Harm Reduction for their elderly patients and clients. The only way that network can function is when responsible professionals work together towards Best Practices within each of their professional domains. We are here to help you towards that goal.

Discharge Planners and Social Workers must ensure their patients are sent home to a safe environment.

Attorneys, Conservators, Guardians and Fiduciaries must protect their clients from the many forms of exploitation to which our elders are vulnerable.

Physicians and nurses want to ensure that elderly clients receive the support they need in their homes so they may best adhere to recommended medical advice and prevent debilitating and costly home accidents.

“An essential aspect of the Care Philosophy of Central Coast Senior Services, Inc. is that, every policy we create, and every management decision we make, is focused upon Best Practices for Optimal In-Home Harm Reduction.

We are here to protect the interests of your patients and clients, and we take this responsibility very seriously. It is a Standard of Excellence towards which we continually strive in our day-to-day operations.”         John O’Brien, CEO
