Our Personal Attendant Service is
for individuals who need personal assistance with activities such as
bathing, dressing, medication reminders, meal preparation as well as
companionship.
Our Personal Attendants are fully employed and bonded.
Each Personal Attendant must pass a written exam, drug screen and a
36-hour orientation and training course.
Service can be provided for as little as 2 hours a day to as many as
24 hours per day. The frequency of the service is dependent on the
client’s needs and can be daily, once a week or even once a month.
For example, your Personal Attendant can help ensure that you get
medications on time, assist you with personal care, prepare meals for
you and do light housekeeping, grocery shopping and many other tasks.
In addition, our shifts are flexible, so your Personal Attendant can
be with you for the amount of time that you need even as your needs
change.
The Respite Care Service is designed to allow “time off” for a
family caregiver or one you have hired on your own. The number one
cause of caregiver burnout is a lack of time away from caregiving
duties. It is not uncommon for the primary caregiver themselves to
become seriously ill. The Respite Care Services is not designed to
replace the primary caregiver, but to provide the protection and
security needed to allow you the peace of mind to leave and take time
to care for yourself and the other pressing needs of life. |
