  3. Alliance on Aging

    The Alliance on Aging is a private, non-profit organization in operation since 1970, with a mission to provide services and resources that promote optimum independence, dignity and quality of life for all Seniors in Monterey County.

    For more than 40 years, the Alliance on Aging has been the place to turn to for older adult programs and services. They are the sole source provider in Monterey County for essential senior services including:

     

  4. The Carmel Foundation

    The Carmel Foundation: Comprehensive senior programming for those 55 and older.  Services include classes and activities, meal programs, low-income housing, support services, tour program, computer lab, lending library, medical equipment loan, and so much more.   Visit on the web at www.carmelfoundation.org.

  5. Meals on Wheels

    Meals on Wheels of the Monterey Peninsula, Inc.:  This wonderful nonprofit organization serves elders in our community through services emanating from the Sally Griffin Active Living Center in Pacific Grove. They deliver meals to qualifying recipients throughout the Monterey Peninsula, and provide healthy, hearty and tasty lunchtime meals at locations on the Peninsula. They also have an amazing variety of Fitness, Wellness, Enrichment and Social Activities.

    Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley: Meals on Wheels of the Salinas Valley believes no senior should go hungry, so they deliver meals to the home of people who are unable to shop or cook for themselves. Their nutritious meals, delivered throughout the Salinas Valley by caring volunteers, improve the health and well-being of people who are homebound, elderly or disabled, helping them to remain in their home and maintain their independence.
