Many of our senior clients have lived in this spectacularly beautiful region for decades, indeed, for their entire lives of 70, 80, 90 and greater than 100 years. Every long time local with whom I’ve spoken says they never grow tired of the beauty, and they have fond memories of family fun times enjoying the beaches and hiking in the Ventana mountains, the coastal redwoods and the gorgeousness of the Salinas farmlands, and our lovely Cypress trees, shaped by the winds. We have former surfers, sailors, fishermen and divers who spent much of their lives on our waters. Our clients are artists, writers, and locals from every walk of life who love the moon rising over the bay, along with the carousel of stars parading across the domed sky. They love the billowing, ever-changing clouds and weather that shifts many times in a day. They enjoy the links in Pebble Beach, the sun in Carmel Valley, and, believe it or not, the fog of Pacific Grove. Our folks here know the terrain of this beautiful paradise like the back of their hands.
This site is dedicated in honor of our magnificent elders, wishing them comfort, security, grace, dignity and beauty in this later time of life, and for whom this natural environment is inseparable from their sense of home, sense of self, and their sense of connection and belonging. It is dedicated to our wonderful community here on the Monterey Peninsula.

A lovely afternoon between 6-7 miles up North Coast Ridge Road.
Following an afternoon hike on the Soberanes loop trail in Garrapata, the deck at Rocky Point is a delightful spot for a bit of vino and sunset contemplation.
A very windy spring afternoon at Asilomar Beach. There were many gulls cavorting on the strong wind, and this photo was captured on a Blackberry.

Headed south onto Bixby Bridge, opened November 1932. Some of our folks were kids and young adults and remember when it was built. The bridge is 714 feet long, 24 feet wide, over 280 feet high and has a main span of 320 feet.
