Our Care Philosophy is that Professionalism and Compassion is our Business.

We practice our business by the Golden Rule: We seek to care for our clients with the same high standards we would want for our parents or ourselves, and conversely, we do not treat our clients in ways that we would not want to be treated.

“Professional” Care is care that goes beyond being merely competent. We seek Best Practices in the many diverse responsibilities that comprise in-home care. Our industry is unregulated, so we set high standards of professionalism for our managers and Personal Attendants, and we proactively maintain those standards in our daily operations.

Compassion is our business, and Compassion is our heartfelt concern.

“Compassionate” Care is based upon the unifying human emotion of empathy coupled with services that genuinely make a positive difference in our clients’ lives. Yes, we are a business, but we strive to always remember we are caring for elders at a vulnerable phase of life.

We strive to employ Personal Attendants who are competent and have natural qualities of care and compassion. We provide training and communicate our Care Philosophy and Standards of Excellence through our classes, our policies, our supervisors, and our day-to-day decisions. We look beyond short-term financial gains and invest substantially in the Quality of Care components of our business, especially through our investment in our Home Care Coordinators and Personal Attendants.

We start with Personal Attendants with the right personal qualities and past experience, then we provide training, support, guidance and supervision from our professional Home Care Coordinators.

We believe that our daily efforts have helped Central Coast Senior Services, Inc. evolve into a non-medical home care agency that sets the highest standards of care in our industry.
