Association Memberships

Private duty home care agencies are companies that provide home care aides, companion care, homemaker services and may provide nursing services in the client’s home or place of residence. Members of the NPDA employ trained caregivers and assume all responsibility for the payroll and all related taxes – this responsibility is never passed off to the client. Central Coast Senior Services, Inc. is a proud advocate for the highest standards of business ethics and Best Practices for home care in this unregulated industry.

The American Society on Aging is an association of diverse individuals bound by a common goal: to support the commitment and enhance the knowledge and skills of those who seek to improve the quality of life of older adults and their families. The membership of ASA is a multidisciplinary array of professionals who are concerned with the physical, emotional, social, economic and spiritual aspects of aging. ASA’s mission is to prepare members to address the challenges and opportunities of a diverse aging society with a focus upon concrete social impact: that all older adults have improved quality of life and racial and other disparities are reduced.

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice is the nation’s largest trade association representing the interests and concerns of home care agencies, hospices, and home care aide organizations.

The National Private Duty Home Care Association is a central resource and advocate for the private duty home care community. They actively seek to influence the legislative, judicial, and regulatory processes to positively impact private duty home care. They promote high standards of client care through national accreditation and certification programs, and promote educational programs that focus on industry best practices.
